Travel to Champoluc

We do not offer flights as part of our package. There are many budget airlines available offering cheap flights that we feel there is greater flexibility for you by booking direct with the airlines. We will, of course, provide transfers to and from the airport to suit your flights.

However, we are more than happy to advise you on travel arrangements. We have been travelling to Champoluc for the last 10 years and can pass on the benefits of our experience in most means of transport! There are a number of useful links on the right side of this page.

Flying

Fly from 12 airports in the UK and Ireland to get to Champoluc

The most convenient Italian airport is Turin, at only 1½ hours transfer. The airport has been recently refurbished for the Winter Olympics and is now very modern and comfortable. You will find that there are plenty of flights available with the budget airlines from the London airports; Easyjet from Luton, Ryanair from Stansted and BA from Gatwick. Also, Aer Lingus now fly to Turin from Dublin.

An alternative is Milan, either Malpensa (2½ hour transfer) or Linate (3 hours). These are major international airports and there are plenty of airlines that fly to Milan. We prefer not to pick up from these airports but transfers can be arranged if you are unable to get to Turin. We can also arrange transfers from Geneva (3 hours).

Self Drive

Champoluc's proximity to the Mont Blanc Tunnel makes this a feasible option. We have found that it is quicker to drive to Champoluc from the UK than some of the southern French resorts, Val D'Isere, etc.

If you decide on this option then we suggest that you allow between 10 and 12 hours from Calais, depending on how you drive and how many stops you want to make.
