The massive amount of early snow in December has meant that this is the best start to the season since we can remember. The temperatures have remained well below freezing, keeping the snow in an excellent condition.
The credit crunch may be biting and the pound might be worthless but there's snow and loads of it! Why not get away from the depressing headlines and New Year blues for a holiday in the snow.
Carol's Resort Report - 4th January
"A happy new year to you from all of us here in Champoluc. The new year crowds are starting to depart and the cold temperatures are keeping everything in great condition. The new snow on Xmas day and on the 29th have topped everything up nicely."
