Guiding, Heli-Skiing and Free-Ride Packages
The Monterosa pistes cover just a small part of the skiable terrain in this area.
In fact there are lots of breathtaking descents out there just waiting to be discovered.
They cover a variety of terrain including powder, steep gullies, open plateaus, tree-lined descents and
glacier runs - all accompanied by stunning scenery and all offering unforgetable thrills and experiences.
Together with the local Italian guide company, we can tailor a heliski or
free-ride package for which best suits your requirements and ability.
This can be a one-day heliskiing adventure or even a ski safari stretching over a few days.
We can also offer a whole week of off-piste skiing , all with the services of the mountain guide.
These can all be designed for individuals, groups or corporate events.
Below are some of the combinations available for your off-piste experiences but please do not hesitate to call for more information or advice.
The availability of all these packages is obviously dependent on snow conditions. For this reason, we have quoted prices in Euros and suggest that you pay for these activities in the resort. Our resort team will, of course, organise all arrangements for you.
Please ensure that your winter sports insurance adequately covers for these activities.
Heli-Ski Tour of Monterosa
Depart from Gressoney by helicopter onto the Monterosa glacier and descend into Zermatt, Swizerland.
Then return via the Zermatt and Cervinia lifts descending into the Ayas valley and the village of St Jaques,
a few kilometres from Champoluc.
The cost of this tour is €215 per person, including the services of a qualified guide for the day, helicopter flight and Swiss/Cervinia lift pass.
We also offer a 2-day tour, at €425 per person, which is slightly more leisurely and includes for an overnight hotel stay (bed and breakfast) in Zermatt and the services of the guide for the 2 days
Free-Ride
With the services of a qualified guide for the day, this may cover a variety of off-piste routes in the Monterosa area dependant on snow conditions and your ability.
Up to 5 people: €250. For groups between 5 and 8 people, an additional cost of €50 per person. Maximum of 8 per guide.
