"Thank you for the excellent skiing holiday we had recently in Champoluc. Thankfully the snow stayed and the sun shone. Hotel de Champoluc was friendly and so close to the lifts as to be a major benefit! The food, although a trifle institutional in nature, was hearty! I was so surprised to see the pistes so empty in ANY ski resort, and such long runs as well. We were really taken with the mountain restaurants, Refuggio Guiglielmina and Soussun"

"Just to let you know, we had a fabulous 4 days in Champoluc, staying at Stadel Soussun. Stefania looked after us incredibly well, the food was delicious and bedrooms most comfortable. Sergio was always ready for us with the SnowCat (with our skis already inside) from the moment we arrived at Crest to the day we left. Our boots dried out in front of the fire overnight and were nicely warm in the morning. It was all very spoiling, particularly as we were the only guests, and we were gutted that we could not persuade more people to come with us."

Our Hotel (Relais de Glaciers) was first class especially the food, and of course Carol looked after us very well, helping us with everything we bombarded her with, it was like having your own personal assistant with you."

We were very lucky with the week - clear first day, fresh snow , even though it meant bad visibility and then gorgeous sunshine. It was also lovely to have relatively empty slopes - not what we are used to in France."
